Gentle Inversions for Hot Weather and Lower Back and Pranayama
It's hot. Raising the legs above the heart has a cooling effect on the body. In this practice we explore gentle inversions to cultivate a sense of coolness and spaciousness. We also focus on the QL (quadratus lumborum, the muscles on either side of the lower back). Class concludes with a cooling pranayama practice. Please have two blocks, a strap, and one or two blankets.
